Can assistive devices be used with TRAZER?

TRAZER works with assistive devices.

Yes, TRAZER only picks up the User and not their assistive device. Providers can also stand behind the User and use a gait belt or support device to help guide the User for safety concerns.

If your User requires your hands-on assistance, stand directly behind them during calibration. Once they have been calibrated into the Activity, TRAZER will only track them and you can move freely, but do not block the system's view of the User.

For wheelchair use, you may need to crouch behind the chair if the User needs assistance moving forward or backward into the calibration position.
