Best practices to keep your Unit up-to-date.
Every evening at 10pm in your local time zone, an automated process attempts to establish communication with your XP Unit. This process is designed to verify that your Unit has received the most up-to-date software, maintenance, and security updates. If your Unit is not up to date, these updates will be applied overnight. By allowing updates and system maintenance to occur during the night, we ensure that your business operations and the functioning of your XP System are not disrupted.
To ensure successful communication with your Unit, please make sure of the following:
- Your Unit is powered on.
- Your Unit is connected to the internet.
When you finish your work for the day and leave your facility, please leave your Unit powered on. You can turn off the TV, but keep the Unit powered on to facilitate the automated updates and maintenance processes.
