How to Use Offline Mode

TRAZER XP uses an active internet connection to sync real-time data to the TRAZER Portal. Offline mode allows TRAZER to be utilized when the internet connection is interrupted or not available for up to 72 hours at a time.

Initiate Offline Mode on Start-up

Offline mode can be initiated when first powering on the TRAZER Unit. If there is no network connected to the TRAZER Unit before the Application starts, after clicking past the sleep screen, a No Internet Connection message will appear with two options. If you believe the internet is connected, click TRY AGAIN to re-establish the internet connection within the Application. If you intend to run the Application without internet, click the OFFLINE MODE button.

After clicking the OFFLINE MODE button, the Login Screen will appear, however in offline mode the Admin will now be requested to enter their Username and TRAZER PIN. After logging in, the TRAZER application can be utilized as normal, only the tests performed will not sync to the Portal until the internet connection is re-established.

Initiate Offline Mode while using TRAZER

If the internet disconnects while using TRAZER, the NO INTERNET CONNECTION pop-up will appear. If the TRY AGAIN option does not re-establish the connection, or you would prefer to work in OFFLINE MODE, click the OFFLINE MODE button. The Admin will not need to enter their Username or PIN since they have already logged in.
