My Remote is not Working

How to troubleshoot issues with the remote.

 

Remote Light Indications

  • LED INDICATOR:
    • SOLID BLUE = Remote is connected to the TRAZER Unit
    • BLINKING BLUE = Remote is not connected/ receiver not responding
  • CHARGING INDICATOR:
    • SOLID RED = Remote is charging
 
 
 
 
 

CHECKING THE REMOTE FUNCTION:

  1. Ensure that the USB receiver is plugged into the side of the TRAZER Unit.
  2. When clicking the remote buttons, does the Led Indicator light turn on?
    • If the light is a solid color, continue to step 3
    • If the light is flashing, repeat step 1
    • If there is no light, use the charging cord to charge the remote.
  3. Once the USB receiver is plugged in and the indicator light is solid, click the "Cursor Locking" to activate the cursor.
  4. If the remote is still not responding to any input, continue to Troubleshooting.
 

TROUBLESHOOTING:

  1. Remove the receiver from the USB slot on the TRAZER Unit and reconnect to one of the other USB slots. Check the remote function again.
  2. If there's still no response, remove the receiver and power down the TRAZER Unit. Power on the TRAZER Unit and allow the software to fully load. Plug the receiver into one of the USB slots and check the remote function again.
