      About Randy Cohen

      An early adopter of TRAZER for sports performance, Dr. Cohen served as Associate Athletic Director for the University of Arizona. Today, he works with TRAZER in the development of activities and advanced education. 

      Dr. Randy Cohen retired as the Associate Athletics Director for Medical Services at the University of Arizona in 2023. He currently is the Co-founder of the Excellence in Secondary School Athletic Training Certification Program, Co-owner of the Physio Shop AT, PT, and Wellness Center, and Vice President for Elite Performance & Clinical Education at TRAZER.

      Prior to his move to Arizona, Randy worked at Purdue University and the University of Notre Dame. Randy has a degree in Athletic Training from Purdue University, a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois- Chicago, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons College.

      Randy is an adjunct professor and guest lecturer for numerous athletic training curricula. He is the former Chair of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) College and University Athletic Training Committee. He was the Chair of the NATA Risk Management and Liability Assessment Toolkit workgroup.

      Randy has given numerous presentations to the risk management and insurance association on managing concussions on college campuses along with numerous presentations on the treatment of concussions. He has worked with CDC on education for athletes with sickle cell trait. He was a participant at the 2015 UPMC/NFL Targeted Evaluation & Active Management (TEAM) Approach to Treating Concussions and co-author of the paper that came out of this summit.

      Connor Norman serves as the Director of Sports Medicine for Football at the University of Georgia (UGA), where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the health and well-being of student-athletes. With a wealth of experience in sports medicine and athletic training, Connor brings a dynamic combination of expertise and leadership to the UGA football program. Passionate about optimizing athlete performance and injury prevention, he is dedicated to providing top-tier medical care and support to ensure the success of the Bulldogs on and off the field.

      About Nathan Wilder

      Wilder functions as the head football athletic trainer by coordinating the medical care and providing athletic training services to the University's football student-athletes. He also serves as sport administrator for women's golf.

      He joined the Tigers from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he had served as the head football athletic trainer starting in 2009. While at Samford, Wilder was responsible for the prevention, management, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for all of Samford's football student-athletes. 

      Wilder arrived at Samford from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, where he served as the head athletic trainer from 2004 until  2009. While at Waynesburg, Wilder supervised medical coverage for all 18 teams, and he served as the athletic trainer for the football, wrestling and track and field teams. He was also an instructor of various courses and an approved clinical instructor in the CAATE accredited program at Waynesburg.

      Prior to his time at Waynesburg, Wilder was an assistant professor/assistant athletic trainer at Southern Connecticut State University, spent one year working with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, and worked as a graduate assistant at Ohio University.  He has worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Center for Sports Medicine.

      Wilder holds credentials as a certified athletic trainer and as a strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
