The 4 Pillars of TRAZER
Aligned perfectly at the point where biology, technology, and data intersect, TRAZER was designed to track, measure, and report key metrics related to our 4 Pillars: Balance, Dynamic Movement, Kinematics, and Neuromechanics.
TRAZER features hundreds of immersive (game-like) reaction-based Activities that don't just work your body, they also work your brain. A high-powered depth-sensing camera tracks 32 points on your body at 30 frames per second (fps), while the TRAZER software processes millions of data points in real-time so Users and their Providers know exactly how they move and process information to move.
Immediate post-activity feedback keeps Users on track and on target. Immersive and reaction-based Assessments, Rehabilitation, Drills, Workouts, and Games make Fitness, Rehabilitation and Training fun while strengthening the Brain + Body™️ connection.
TRAZER provides quantifiable data to track progress, train more effectively, and can serve as as an early warning system when something is off.
Measure What Matters
TRAZER is the power to track, monitor, optimize, and improve physical and cognitive performance through data.
BALANCE
Critical for stability, posture, joint health, functional mobility, fall prevention and so much more, TRAZER tracks and improves Balance for better brain health and overall wellbeing.
DYNAMIC MOVEMENT
Involving multiple joints and muscles working together to produce fluid actions, TRAZER Dynamic Movement Activities measure and enhance mobility, agility, and coordination.
KINEMATICS
Crucial for understanding and improving human movement, TRAZER Kinematics enable data-driven analysis of upper and lower body joint angles in real-time.
NEUROMECHANICS
The Brain is the driving force behind movement; Neuromechanics is the driving force behind understanding, optimizing, and improving everything to do with movement.
Balance Metrics
- Number of Misses and the location in which they occur
("misses" are counted when you lose your balance) - Distance and Direction of Sway
(how far and the direction in which you lean when trying to hold your balance)
Dynamic Movement Metrics
- Acceleration & Deceleration + a Deceleration Index
(how well you can control your momentum; the index indicates the difference between your ability to start and stop) - Directional Asymmetries
(the difference between your ability to move to one side vs. the other) - Speed & Distance Traveled
- Dynamic Reaction Time™
(how long it takes you to process random stimuli and move in the correct direction) - Standard Reaction Time
(how long it takes to you to initiate movement in any direction when prompted)
Kinematic Metrics
- Angles of the Trunk, Pelvis, Knees and Ankles
- Angles of the Neck, Spine, Shoulder and Elbow
Neuromechanics Metrics
- Acceleration & Deceleration + a Deceleration Index
(how well you can control your momentum; the index indicates the difference between your ability to start and stop) - Directional Asymmetries
(the difference between your ability to move to one side vs. the other) - Speed & Distance Traveled
- Dynamic Reaction Time™
(how long it takes you to process random stimuli and move in the correct direction - as well as the incorrect direction) - Standard Reaction Time
(how long it takes to you to initiate movement in any direction when prompted) - Response Accuracy and Response Time for Congruent vs. Incongruent cues
(a "congruent cue" is a prompt that directs you to "Move to Blue", an "incongruent cue" is a prompt that directs you to "Move to Blue." It is another level of cognitive complexity to challenge your brain.)
TRAZER Activity Categories
Assessments
TRAZER Assessments are the beginning, middle, and end of effective Rehab, Training, and Sports Performance Programs.
TRAZER Assessments highlight deficits and inconsistencies in movement (physical function) and the ability to process information and react (cognitive function). Assessments establish a Baseline to help Users and Providers understand the starting point and create data-driven plans
As Users progress they go back to their original Assessment to track progress by the numbers. Providers leverage objective data to track, and achieve goals for better Brain + Body™ outcomes.
TRAZER Assessments are standardized to remain consistent, reproducible, and objective.
Workouts
Establishing a Baseline is just the beginning. TRAZER Workouts are multi-step Activities performed back-to-back and designed to address deficits identified in Assessment. They also help enhance specific skills such as Balance, Speed, Reaction Time, or Agility. TRAZER Workouts are engaging, fun, and help keep Users on track.
Immediate post-activity feedback lets Users know how they're doing and keeps them on track from session-to-session and over time.
TRAZER Workouts drive strength, agility, and cardio vascular endurance. The proof is in the data.
Drills
TRAZER Drills are focused Activities designed to address and enhance specific areas - Agility, Balance, Explosive Strength, Reaction Time, and Speed. Most Drills have customizable settings for personalized sessions. Adjustable for Time or Sets/Reps, movement direction, distance, or patterns and more.
TRAZER Drills focus on training specific movement patterns or motions.
Games
TRAZER Games were designed to enhance movement patterns common in life and sport. These also impact peripheral vision, depth perception, and cognitive performance through challenges that are enjoyable and motivating. Each game includes 7 levels of progressively more challenging play.
TRAZER Games engage Users with progressive challenges that stimulate both physical coordination and cognitive abilities.
TRAZER aligns with our mission to serve the diverse populations within our communities and make real impact. TRAZER activities make working out fun for kids, seniors, and elite athletes alike. TRAZER gives us the ability to do outreach throughout our communities to offer fall risk assessments or pre-season assessments for sports teams. More importantly, it adds a very unique opportunity for our Members.
I use TRAZER to establish a client's Baseline, analyze their progress and plan future sessions. TRAZER challenges clients and holds their interest from session-to-session.
I couldn't have asked for a better start on my fitness journey. I'm seventy years old. I was sedentary for thirty years and because of my injuries, I didn't know where to begin. My trainer introduced me to TRAZER and now I'm moving and enjoying it - it feels like I'm rehabilitating.
